ETI NGO Caucus Membership Criteria

The ETI NGO Caucus is a network of NGOs associated with the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) that meets regularly to discuss issues around the ETI, and to agree NGO priorities for action within the ETI. In addition the network may discuss associated areas of campaigning on issues linked to the principles and purposes of the ETI. The caucus also elects, advises and occasionally mandates the NGO Board members of the ETI on NGO concerns to be raised with the other constituencies of the ETI (trade unions and businesses).

Members of the caucus must become members of the ETI. NGOs interested in membership may attend two meetings of the caucus before being obliged to become members.

Basic criteria for membership of the network are:

Membership applications must be submitted to the Chair of the ETI NGO Caucus (application forms available here or from the Chair). Decisions on membership applications are taken by the existing members of the NGO Caucus.

NGO Membership Fees

Subscription for NGO membership of ETI is two-tiered, costing £50/year for smaller NGOs, and £5,000/year for the larger ones. Subscription is based on annual turnover.
