ETI members have proposed seminars to address the exploitation of seasonal and foreign labour in the UK food industry. The seminar will bring together suppliers, companies, development and labour rights organisations that are interested in this issue. The seminar will focus on delivering a number of objectives including :

The seminars will include a number of workshops aimed at improving awareness amongst relevant suppliers, retailers, charities (NGOs), ETI members and other audiences, addressing in particular the existence and nature of exploitation of seasonal and foreign labour in the UK and the practical constraints and opportunities involved in addressing this exploitation.

We expect considerable interest in this topic and are therefore running two seminars at two regional locations.
