Critical issues workshop

Some problems found in audits, such as a blocked fire exit, are relatively straightforward to fix. But more often than not, appropriate, effective and affordable solutions are much more difficult to identify. In this session, participants voted for one of several possible “solutions” to specific non-compliance issues, and debated the pros and cons of the different options. The workshop provided participants with:

• new ideas and practical tips on how to address difficult non-compliances
• a more nuanced understanding of how to tackle non-compliances relating to freedom of association and working hours in particular.
