Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs)
Joining the Ethical Trading Initiative
- ETI NGO Caucus:
How to Join
All NGOs wishing to join the ETI must join the NGO Caucus of the ETI and play a full part in its activities. Currently most NGO members of the ETI find that this means a time commitment of around two days per month and for many it is more. See also the guidelines for NGO annual reports to the ETI for an idea of the range of activities involved.
NGOs interested in joining the ETI NGO Caucus should take the following action.
- Contact the ETI NGO Co-ordinator
(currently Peter Williams: ngos@eti.org.uk).
- Ensure you fulfil basic membership criteria
- Attend a meeting of the ETI NGO Caucus (quarterly)
and introduce the NGO and its interests to other members
of the caucus.
- After the first or second meeting of the caucus, submit an
application form.
- If application accepted, join the ETI.
