Each of the experimental projects described on pages 11 - 14 enables us to identify good practice in an important area of code implementation. Sharing good practice – and indeed all our learning – is equally vital. Our communications programme is targeted at all who need or want to develop understanding and practical skills in ethical trade.Last year, we focused on finding better ways of meeting the learning needs of our members. This year, we looked beyond the membership and channelled our efforts on communicating information and experience much more widely. Highlights included the ETI international conference held in May 2003, and the production of three key publications: the first public edition of the ETI workbook, Key challenges in ethical trade - a report based on the ETI conference, and a report on lessons from our experimental project in South Africa.
