The ETI code of labour practice: do workers really benefit? Findings and recommendations from a case study in South Africa (fruit) reports on the findings of one of five in-depth case studies carried out as part of the ETI Impact Assessment study, which was conducted by the Institute of Development Studies (University of Sussex). The report includes:
- Relevant background information on the South African fruit sector
- A description of key labour problems found against each of the 9 Base Code principles
- An account of the impacts of codes in the sector, including impacts on each of the 9 ETI Base Code principles and on different types of workers.
