Ethical procurement for health: workbook
NB: While much of the information in the workbook and associated materials remains relevant, some of the sources have not been updated since first being published. ETI is due to update and re-launch the guide soon.
The Ethical procurement for health: workbook and supporting materials helps procurers in the health and social care sector include consideration of labour standards throughout the procurement and market engagement processes. It aims to build awareness and understanding of labour standards in supply chains among procurers, so that labour standards concerns can be identified early and addressed proactively and constructively.
The workbook and materials provides a model, the flexible framework, against which organisations can benchmark their practices and identify actions that will make these practices more effective in driving improvement and mitigating risks. It provides guidance, templates, tools and case examples to support the development of robust management processes to address labour standards.
