Head of Programmes
The global recession is hitting the poorest workers in the world the hardest, demanding radical new approaches to ethical trade.
As a key member of ETI's senior management team you will play a critical role in driving the implementation of our new strategy, overseeing a series of collaborative work programmes that aim to achieve widespread, lasting change for workers.
You are a proven people manager and with more than five years' experience of project management and planning. Excellent communication and administration skills are essential.
With sound judgement and a sharp strategic mind, you are a confident and diplomatic leader, adept at managing diverse groups of stakeholders ranging from retail giants like Tesco and M&S, and international development charities and trade unions like Oxfam and the TUC.
A solid knowledge of ethical trade and related international development issues and a passion for ETI's aims and objectives are a must.
Salary of £46,408.92 plus benefits and 25 days annual holiday and 6% pension contribution.

We are offering voluntary placements for people with relevant skills and experience and a strong commitment to ethical trade, who can help us implement our ambitious programme of work.
Depending on your interests and skills, you could get involved in a range of activities, from researching national living wage benchmarks in key sourcing countries to analysing ETI member companies' annual reports. Or, if you have organisational skills, you could help us develop our image bank or assist in general administration.
