ETI publishes external evaluation

ETI recently commissioned an external evaluation to assess progress against our vision and theory of change, as well as our capacity to deliver on our forthcoming strategy for 2015 – 2020.

External evaluators IOD Parc conducted the evaluation over a four month period, drawing on interviews with our members, staff, Board and multi-stakeholder reference group. It focused on ETI’s results (including the strength of our multi-stakeholder processes), as well as our capabilities. It considered the spread of ETI activity including priority supply chain programmes, joint initiatives, members’ individual activities, policy advocacy and member accountability. 

ETI Director Peter McAllister said: “Independent evaluations are valuable tools for any organisation, providing external perspectives on where you are now, and how you can reach your goals. This evaluation has come at a pertinent time; it has helped feed into and inform ETI’s new five year strategy. We look forward to sharing our new strategy with stakeholders in the coming months.”

Benet Northcote, Group Head of CSR for John Lewis Partnership, said: "ETI is a tripartite body and, as an enthusiastic corporate member, the John Lewis Partnership was delighted to be able to contribute to this independent evaluation. It was a very constructive and open exercise with a range of different views being shared and debated. We look forward to continuing to support the new five year strategy."
