ETI members, in discussion

ETI members include global companies with thousands of suppliers, international trade union bodies, specialised labour rights organisations and development charities.

The unparalleled breadth of experience that this represents, combined with the collective buying power of our corporate members, lends us unique credibility and clout.

Companies

With a combined turnover of over £166 bn, our company members include supermarkets, fashion retailers, department stores and stone sourcing companies, as well as major suppliers to retailers of food and drink, flowers, clothing, shoes, homewear, promotional and other products. While many of our companies are based in the UK, we also have members from Australia, Germany, Spain, Sweden and USA.

Trade unions

Our union members represent nearly 160 million workers around the world in every country where free trade unions can operate. They are the Trades Union Congress (TUC) — the national trade union federation in the UK — and the world body of national union federations, the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) and the International Transport Workers' Federation (ITF). Workers in agricultural and hospitality sectors are represented by the IUF (uniting food, farm and hotel workers worldwide).

NGOs

Our NGO members range from large international development charities such as Oxfam and CAFOD, to specialised labour rights organisations such as Anti-Slavery International and Homeworkers Worldwide, as well as fairtrade organisations including the Fairtrade Foundation and Transform Trade.
