Human rights due diligence (HRDD) is a process that businesses should undertake to identify, prevent, mitigate, and remedy their impacts on human rights.

Our membership is tripartite, comprising of companies, NGOs and trade unions spanning many countries and sectors.

The ETI Base Code is a code of labour practice based on international conventions and is internationally respected as a model code. All ETI member companies and many other retailers and brands adopt the Base Code and commit to making sure their suppliers work towards it over time.
