This Friday 24 April, we must stop and remember. This date marks the two year anniversary of a horrific tragedy – the collapse of Bangladesh’s Rana Plaza that took the lives of more than 1,100 workers and injured thousands more.

Syrian refugees are desperate to work to support their families and responsible business can make a positive contribution.

Learning health and safety lessons and crucially, strengthening workers' voices are key elements to a safe garment sector.

Addressing security concerns should not be allowed to put workers' rights in jeopardy.

Working conditions can vary but inadequate health and safety standards and verbal abuse, bullying, threats and humiliation are too often commonplace.
